Certificate IV in web-based technologies
What did I learn in that course?
HTML (including some dynamic HTML), CSS, JavaScript, MySQL and PHP. We used JavaScript for example to validate forms. PHP was used to get database-driven websites, to transfer what users enter on a form to a database, etc. We learned how to use SQL to make queries and extract the information we need from a database.
The course included too: Search Engine Optimisation, web security, web hosting, domain names, copyright, etc.
Software used
To design webpages we used mainly Adobe Fireworks, to code webpages we used Adobe Dreamweaver. To upload websites we used Filezilla.
